Blinding Beauty

The shutter speed is 1/50, the ISO is 400 and the F-stop is 4.5. I love nature and the amazing details that can be found within it. Pinecones have such lovely texture. Just within this texture there is so much shadow and light, as well as depth created because of the dark abyss that appears to exist in the pinecones patterns. This picture has such diversity, the top is glaringly bright while the lower half is dark and subtle. The snow on the pinecone is so fragile, yet beautiful. I especially love the melted water droplets on the pine needle, with how reflective and shiny they are. The one thing I wish could be changed is that I want the pine needles to the left side to be blurred.
