Getting this dog to sit still is no small feat so I knew as soon as I got this shot that I had to use it in my portfolio. I had my camera on portrait mode while I took this and I’m glad I did. his tail was moving and he doesn’t like to sit still so I thought for sure it would come out blurry as it was a problem I had been having all day. You can imagine my surprise when I saw the final picture and discovered that it had come out very clean and crisp. The sun had started to set so there was very little natural light left in the day. I made the mistake of leaving my ISO down at 100 and while the photo came out clear, it was quite dark. After I popped it into photoshop and lightened it, I was quite happy with the finished product.
