It’s Called Goats Beard

I took this photo of an interesting tree on a weekend day-trip with my family, in Priddis. The subject of this photo is a fungus that grows all through the Priddis hiking trails, nicknamed Goats Beard. Because we were outside where there was lots of natural light, there was no need for a high ISO, but we were below the trees in the shade so I couldn’t go too low. (ISO 400). I must have taken about 100 photos of the trees that day but I think this one stuck out just because of how clear it came out. The subject is perfectly in focus while the distant background is totally blurry.
