Inner EYE

The iso was 250, the shutter speed 1/25, and the f-stop 1.7. The focus of the image is the eye since the eye can tell so much about the person. It can tell the whole life story of someone and in this image it tells that the person hasn’t gone through much of life and still have much of it to experience. As they get older their eyes will begin to tell more and more of their story but for now it adds a veil of naiveness that childhood and teenagerhood bring. I also like this photo since the mask covers their mouth so you cannot see the full expression of the person adding a sense of mystery to the photo. The hardest part about this image was making sure the subject had their eyes open and making sure they weren’t looking down. I also had to do a bit of experimenting and decided that the subject looking up rather than towards the camera was better since there was a bit of an unsettling feeling with them looking at the camera.
