To Infinity and Beyond

I composed this image outside on a bright winter day. I chose to use a low f-stop for this photo because I wanted to implement a small depth of field in this image. I also wanted to contrast the light fence to the dark and shadowy in order to make my image slightly more interesting. I also wanted it to appear as though the fence goes on for a very long time and I accomplished this by focusing on one part of it and blurring the rest. Line is also a component in this photo considering all of the patterns interlock and lead to one another. I used a f-stop of 4.8 and shutter of 1/125. I also used a ISO of 100 considering that it was a bright day.
