“You’re walkin’ on thin ice there mister.”

I shot this photo outside the school of my friend Omar. I was struggling to find something worthy of being photographed when inspiration struck! I lowered my camera down to the ground, being careful not to let it touch the wet, frozen ground. I put it on manual focus as I couldn’t get down low enough to see the picture through the lenses. trusting the camera paid off in this photo because I got it on my first try and I’ve never been more proud of myself. there was a total absence of the sun on this day because it was ridiculously windy and cloudy. I needed a higher ISO (6400), to let any remaining natural light into the photo. Shot 1/4000 sec f/13 55mm.
